Having worked at KBM (including orig. location on Witchduck Rd.) for approx. 8 years, I gained a lot of insight into character diversity. There was Gail with her country flair, riding the Dirt Devil in the office like in a rodeo (lower left). Lucci with his ever present rice, and his obsessive search for something to fix. Wayne H., my first manager, and friend, who allowed me to draw on the factory floor. I recruited one of my co-workers to draw a few of the characters, including me. A secretary wanted me to slim her down since she lost some weight, so I did. Manager Mike, I never did; he kept asking, but I do have some sketches of him. It was one heck of a Noah's Ark family at KBM. Each and every one of them was unique and I tried to catch their essence in those breakroom drawings. I believed in the power of art to boost morale.
